Referrals
You do not need a referral to book an appointment with Changing Tracks Psychology. If you have private health cover, you may be entitled to a rebate through your provider. We recommend that you check with your provider prior to your appointment.
If you choose not to use Medicare or a private health fund you can still see Lidia without a referral.
GP and other health professionals, or self-funded
Prior to your appointment with us, we recommend that you see your GP to be assessed for a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP). If a MHCP is provided, this entitles you to a Medicare rebate for 10 sessions. In order for to access the Medicare rebate, you will need to provide a copy of the MHCP and your GP referral. Please ensure that you bring these with you plus your Medicare card.
